Friday, May 1, 2009Just a little something I was thinking about... Let's ask ourselves: Why do you go for CG/service? Is it to meet up with friends? Is it because it's really fun? Do you still think about God and really love him after the CG/service? Like, on a normal day where everything seems dull, or when you're really tempted to do something that's against God? If your new CG had nobody you knew, would you still go? Do you go for CG because you genuinely, truly want to improve your relationship with God? I think that's the most important question to think about, because it determines how faithful/passionate for God we really are.  This... is a church in Africa. And I feel that the people most worthy of respect are people who praise God even though they might even get persecuted for it, like in China some time ago. Doesn't that reflect true faith? Not giving up in your pursuit for God even when you know you're all alone in your faith and might even get jailed for it. These are the people who truly love God. I cannot say I would ever live up to that kind of faith, but we should all try our best, shouldn't we? Well, if you didn't know anyone who was a Christian and you constantly got condemned for your religion, and church was nothing more than a boring old building, would you still go? Still smiling, unaware of our fate. At that point, Germaine was the only girl on the right hand side of the room.. Willie and Saunders and Xiao Xuan, in the same group as me. Willie and Saunders were feeling terribly upset because they were the only guys there. The last time Jason and Daniel will lead together The last time we'll eat Daniel's mum's noodlesI will totally miss: - Fion. I don't know you well, but you're really sweet, and when we were paired up to pray for each other you paired up with me and really prayed a lot for my O levels and I'm really thankful for that. Fion, WO AI NI! Fion was crying really badly, because she's separated from us all. Gave her a hug and told her I would really miss her even though I didn't know her well. And I mean it. - Small Sebastian. Even though I've never talked to him before. I'll really miss his liveliness and little jokes. Man I'll really miss him. This is weird, considering the fact that I've never talked to him before. But well all of us in (the old) W412 would understand yeah. - Big Sebastian's off-key and off-rhythmness. Hehehehe. Explanation not needed. Very cute. - Adrian's blurness. - Germaine and Shirley's bubbliness and chattiness. (*sob sob*) - DANIELLLLLLLLLLL. (Explanation not needed) ...And it's a whole new beginning. Dear W412, I'll miss you guys like crazy. This is the start of a whole new journey, we'll set out to get more people for God. It's going to be tough and sad but we'll still have one another! And so what if we're now two CGs? We can still meet and bond and update one another on what's going on in our own CGs. And I really really pray that not a single one of us will fall apart from God. It's easy to "be on fire" for God in CHC initially, because well, it's fun. But it takes an incredible amount of determinance and a lot of faith to continue to believe in Him. It's so easy to ignore Him, to fall away, to sin unconsciously, to let corrupted thoughts ruin you, especially when our faith is dry. Let us all continue to fight for Jesus and never ever give up. When Satan wants to pull us away from God, let us fight back like crazy. I pray that we will all continue to be faithful Christians and never fall away, because I see so many cases of backsliders in CHC and it's really depressing. Let's always continue to fight this battle and never give up, okay? I guess multiplication is a good thing. It's a sign that God's Kingdom is growing! And it shows that God's blessings are on us, so that we can bring more and more people to Christ, get more people saved in this corrupted world. The Army of the Lord is expanding, and W412 is growing. We're the first CG this year in CHC to multiply because there are too many people. That's a good thing for us, but a very very sad thing for the Kingdom of God. It needs to expand more. There are so many people out there who need salvation. No, wait. We ALL need it. And you're excused from this, but if you are, stick and read on. Well, as you can see, our CG, is really, and i mean REALLY growing. (: It's a good thing and yea, we do try our best to integrate new members. And it's also an enjoyable thing to do yea? But but but, sometimes, we get too attached to our certain group of people. And, some may feel left out. So what do we need? CellGroup outings!!!! Perfect Bonding sessions. AND WE NEED A CELLGROUP PHOTO!!! Initiative is what we need. (: Those with cameras, do bring them in the next two CGMs we're gonna have. And we can capture the family.
